To new General Service Representatives (GSRs), Welcome to Alcoholics Anonymous General Service!

This section is meant to introduce members to General Service and provide resources to help all GSRs better serve their groups. As an elected General Service Representative, you are the voice of your AA Group Conscience for the Roanoke Valley District (19) the Virginia Area, and the AA General Service Conference, which is held in New York each April. Through your elected District Committee Member (DCM) and the Virginia Area Delegate, you are the link between your group and the world of AA as a whole. You and your fellow GSRs all over the world are the key to AA unity. Attached below are resources to help you understand what GSR duties and responsibilities are.

If you have any questions, please ask your DCM.
